The Sounds of Non-Violence
by Doerte Weig
The sounds of non-violence
whistle softly as traces of ancestral dreams,
rumble and pound in the struggles for cultural diversity,
into ever deeper resonance honouring biodiversity
Growing how ‘we’ is always more-than-human
A diffracting co-composition of water and air,
Shape-shifting in spirals, overlapping into a felt knowing
that we are sovereign in how we sound and sense the world
how this chirping is always already embedded,
emerging of generative co-presence
Tracing reverberations of non-violence into our ancestors’ dreams.
